The Viterbi Family Vision Research Center is a 115,000-square-foot facility at UC San Diego designed to advance research in ophthalmologic disease. Located within the Health Sciences East Neighborhood, the building integrates state-of-the-art wet labs, clinical trial operations, and collaborative academic spaces.
The project features Optima™ Bench Systems, selected for their unmatched flexibility and modularity. These systems allow for effortless reconfiguration to meet changing research demands. With integrated services, suspended casework, and overhead utility distribution, Optima™ Benches provide a streamlined, future-ready solution ideal for high-performance lab environments.
This project highlights the role of adaptable laboratory furniture in enabling scientific progress. We are honored to be part of a facility that will drive innovation in vision research for years to come.
