Mott, along with our dealer mottLAB WEST, are honored to be the laboratory furniture and fume hood suppliers for The University of California San Diego, Franklin Antonio Hall, which was the winner of the 2024 Lab Design Excellence Award for Special Merit: Design Excellence.
Franklin Antonio Hall at the University of California San Diego is designed for collaborative research. Thirteen large research facilities called ‘collaboratories’ make up the heart of Franklin Antonio Hall. Each ‘collaboratory’ houses a collection of professor-led research groups from different but related disciplines. The building is designed to maximize the circulation and collaboration of UC San Diego faculty, students, professional research staff, and industry partners.
Flexible Lab Solutions
The highly flexible and adaptable labs feature 367 custom pre-wired and pre-plumbed Sigma Carts™ for UCSD Franklin Antonio. The project also consists of Mott Manufacturing’s Pro Series fume hoods, painted steel casework, height adjustable mobile tables, and overhead ceiling panels.
