To solve a space shortage issue, Oakland University hired SmithGroup and Clark Construction to renovate an off-campus facility located at 2817 Research Dr., Rochester Hills. This provided additional research laboratory space for the School of Engineering and Computer Science.
Critical flexibility was delivered with mobile Altus™ benches and tables, steel shelving systems, shelf task lighting, add-a-drawer mobile cabinets with retractable handles, overlay casework, custom overhead service carriers, and Pro Series combo sash fume hoods with ASO2 Plus, and powder coated stainless steel airfoils.
